Process Mapping 101
This comprehensive workshop teaches how to systematically breakdown complex
business processes into smaller elements, how to effectively and efficiently map
the processes, define process metrics, and improve overall process performance.
Participants will learn how to identify disconnects in their processes and how
to improve cycle-time, cost, and resource allocations. There are no
prerequisites for this course; participants will learn the skills at a
comfortable level.
Process Improvement using Six Sigma Tools
Business Process Management builds the framework to create strategic
alignment, measure business processes using metrics aligned with business goals,
and identify performance gaps that have a major impact on the customer
experience and on achieving desired business results. Six Sigma implements the
methodology to prioritize these projects and close the gaps.
This thoughtful and comprehensive workshop takes students through the many steps
of developing the “as-is” current process enroute to the “to-be” improved state.
Six Sigma provides a methodology to streamline and improve by identifying the
low hanging fruit of process inefficiency. Detailed, instructor-led class
projects will aid students in understanding this important element of process
management.
Metrics and Process Management
This workshop is designed to provide participants with a practical and
time-tested methodology and toolset for creating and implementing a successful
measurement and management system. Starting with a review of the many things
that can go wrong in creating metrics, dashboards and the other popular
artifacts of the measurement industry, PMCS instructors share their hard-earned
knowledge of how to design metrics that measure what they’re supposed to, link
process performance to organizational goals, and provide useful information for
guiding executive decision-making, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Our instructors then show how to create a well-defined process management system
in which the metrics operate as a continuous window on organizational
performance at all levels and enable managers to make coherent, quick and
effective decisions. Participants are given opportunities to apply the templates
and tools to case examples and to their own organizations.
