Continuing with the use of Microsoft .NET and ASP.NET as the framework, PMC
Solutions announces the release of inProcess version 3.2. Among a slew of
exciting additions, the new version of inProcess enables users to choose from a
variety of reports, create customized reports, truncate yellow pop-up box
descriptions, print the entire process website with a single click, and
efficiently display the cost and durations fields with the yellow pop-up boxes.
inProcess Enterprise Version 3.2
Our latest versions of inProcess releases on 1 October 2007, learn more about
the new and exciting features and functions.
Version 3.2 Features List:
- Cost and Duration Shown on Process Map.
Payoff: The real bang for the buck with process mapping is being able to
immediately see where the low hanging fruit of process inefficiency exists. With
this valuable feature you can show your process map, and click on the yellow
stickies to display both the cost and duration of each process step.
- Ad-hoc Reporting.
Payoff: So six canned reports weren’t enough?! Now inProcess allows users to
filter, dissect, and extract all the information they need from the inProcess
system. Completely customizable reporting can help you better understand the
impact your process website is having on your organization, and will also
provide greater visibility into the areas that may require more attention.
- Ability to Link to Folders.
Payoff: Most compliance programs dictate “say what you do”, and then “do what
you say”. By developing systematic processes, you surely are accomplishing “say
what you do”, and with the new ability to link to a folder on your local area
network (LAN), you can show compliance with “do what you say.” As an example,
you may have a process that shows how your hold team meetings, and it may read
something like…schedule meeting, schedule conference room, send out agenda,
attend meeting, take meeting minutes, and post minutes. With inProcess v.3.2 you
can now link to the folder on your LAN showing where all your prior meeting
minutes and agendas reside. Try having a compliance auditor find holes with this
system!
- Customized Email Templates.
Payoff: Now you get the pre-populated email asking your process reviewers to
review a process, and the ability to type in additional information like..”Bob,
I know you’ve seen this process several times, but I think we’re finally at a
point where it can be published.” Greater flexibility brings great efficiency.
