Fast Forward Project Management Fundamentals

For Project leads, team members and functional managers understanding and interacting on a project can be complex and challenging.  Two six hour classes provide the "road map" to navigate through project management best practices and develop a practical approach to utilizing project management tools consistently.

Participants will use the practical and highly rated book, The Fast Forward MBA in Project Management, learning and practicing how to communicate, understand requirements, observed critical estimating and deadline setting skills, to satisfy customer needs with limited resources, Practical approaches and tools include:  Developing a project chart and comprehensive statement of work (scope statement); developing a project plan, with roles, communication plan, quality plan and risk plan; understanding scheduling and realistic estimating and managing stakeholder expectations; defining practical status / progress / issue reports.
