A Tale of Two Companies
...
French Funerals Cremations, Albuquerque's largest and oldest family-owned funeral service company, was founded by Chester T. French in 1907. The tradition of caring for New Mexico families began at Fifth Street and Gold Avenue in downtown Albuquerque and continues today at four locations across the city.
Over several years, PMC Solutions (PMCS) and French’s Family have input several hundred processes into the inProcess™ software. The original hand written vision still remains on Paul Layers’ wall as a reminder of where their business process management system began. Today, French’s employees in four different locations need only to log on to the internet to have access to the company’s processes. Within these processes, a visual process map and written instructions are available on how to perform the company’s many functions. If a form is needed, inProcess™ has the ability to attach it to the map for easy access. You can print the current form directly from the website because as the form is updated, so is inProcess™.
French recently applied for the New Mexico Quality Zia Award and is anticipating the results of their recent examination. PMCS looks forward to continuing our relationship with them and assisting them in their quality journey.
"Leon Spackman has done several trainings for us at the French Family of Companies. One was a series of on site trainings that taught our staff how to use certain components of the inProcess software. Another training involved daily training updates on process management and Quality issues. 1.) The training he provided in both instances was right on the mark and did exactly what we needed it to do. 2.) You will not find more than a few people as knowledgeable as Leon as it pertains to several different process systems, how they work, and how you can practically apply them to your business. 3.) His presentation skills are friendly, clear, and concise. There isn't alot of wasted time, or frivolous discussions. 4.) On time, prepared, and ready to go every time we coordinated a deadline. 5.) FFC will be using him again in the future. We are also discussing some other projects we can work together on in the future outside of training initiatives."
